Brisbane Paediatric Dentistry is pleased to announce that our surgery is participating in the Medicare Child Dental Benefit Scheme
This means that for eligible families, the $1000 provided by Medicare can be used to help pay for your child’s specialist dental treatment.
This scheme commenced in January, 2014, and provides eligible children $1000 over 2 years. This is for dental treatment done out of hospital, in the dental surgery. Because we have a dedicated general anaesthetic facility in our rooms, this means that treatment done here can be claimed on the Medicare Scheme, unlike treatment done in a hospital. Of course, we also do treatment with local anaesthetic and Happy Gas (nitrous oxide/oxygen sedation)
For those who would prefer treatment in hospital, we are accredited at Mater Children’s Hospital and Allamanda Private Southport.
